Join HDI Motown For Another Insightful Session!
We are excited to invite everyone to our second session this year! This session is open to everyone (free) and can be attended in-person or remotely.
Every AI service desk today can answer a question, summarize a ticket, suggest a fix. That is no longer a differentiator, it is the expectation. The shift underway is from generative AI that helps people work faster to agentic AI that does the work itself: interpreting the request, acting across the identity, cloud, and monitoring systems where issues actually get fixed, and confirming the result held.
This session goes past the category talk and into how it works. We break down the four things that have to be present for an agent to resolve anything, and lay out the autonomy spectrum that governs what an agent may do on its own, which is also the honest answer to what happens when it gets something wrong. We cover where these deployments break, and why the reason is usually stale knowledge and missing integrations rather than the model.
Then we look forward. Gartner projects agentic AI in IT operations grows from under 5 percent of enterprises today to 70 percent by 2029, autonomously resolving roughly 80 percent of common service issues at about 30 percent lower operational cost. We work through what that does to the shape of a support organization, what the people in it do instead, and five things any team can start in the next 90 days regardless of which vendor they choose.
